10 Reasons to Love Drugstore Beauty Products.

10 Reasons to Love Drugstore Beauty Products.

Beauty products can be found almost anywhere these days including department stores, beauty supply stores, drugstores, supermarkets, discount stores, and online. If you have ever bought makeup at a department store or moisturizer from a television infomercial, you know it can be expensive to maintain. Drugstore beauty products are another option, and here are 10 reasons to love them.
Reasons to Love Drugstore Beauty Products

1. Save Money

Save Money
The number one reason to buy drugstore beauty products is to save money. A bottle of foundation can set you back $30 to over $100 at department stores and specialty stores. You can find a bottle of foundation that is often the same quality for $15 or less at a local drugstore. If you buy a lot of makeup frequently throughout the year, that savings will add up quickly.

2. Availability

Availability
Is your favorite department store brand only available in one store? Do you have to drive 40 miles to get there and pick up your favorite products? Maybe they run out of stock frequently. Drugstore beauty products are almost always in stock, and most people have a drugstore within 5 miles of their home. You also don’t have to wait for it to arrive in the mail if you order it online or from the television.

3. Testing Products

Testing Products
Some department stores let you test products, but not all of them do. If you’re shopping online, not only can’t you test anything, you can’t even be sure that the shade you see online will look the same in person. In a drugstore, you can test out most products before you buy. If there isn’t a test product available, ask a store associate if you can open one to try it out.

4. Convenience

Convenience
The Internet has made saving money on products much easier, and it has opened up new markets allowing you to find products that may otherwise not be available to you. Unfortunately, it comes at a cost. You have to wait for the product to come in the mail, and you probably have to pay for shipping. You can buy a product at a drugstore within minutes and you don’t have to wait for shipping. Plus, more products are becoming available in large drugstores such as Walgreens or Rite Aid, including organic, natural products.

5. Variety

Variety
Department stores are not known for their variety when it comes to beauty products. They usually carry only one brand associated with the store. At a drugstore, you can find hundreds of different products from dozens of reputable brands for hair products, skin products, and makeup. The larger the drugstore, the more you have to choose from.

6. Coupons and Deals

Coupons and Deals
Sometimes online stores or department stores have sales, but it’s nothing like drugstores. Beauty products have coupons available every week. Hold onto the coupon until a sale comes around and you can save 50% or more off the retail price. ‘Extreme couponers’ have been known to get shampoos, conditioners, and body washes for free or almost for free using coupons and deals.

7. Regular New Products

Regular New Products
With dozens of different brands comes dozens of new beauty products every year. Drugstores always want to have the latest products to get you in the store. Beauty product companies almost always have coupons for new products. That means you always have lots of new products to choose from that are inexpensive to try out.

8. Try it before You Buy it

Try it Before You Buy it
You won’t be able to try shampoo or body wash before you buy it, but you can usually test out foundation, concealer, or other makeup products before you commit to a purchase. Ask a drugstore employee if there are any samples you can try if you don’t see any. They might open up a few and add a ‘sample’ sticker to give you a chance to test.

9. Often the Same as the Expensive Products

Often the Same as the Expensive Products
Television commercials are always touting their ‘breakthrough’ products that are absolutely better than anything else available. The truth is that many of the products available at department stores are the same as those available in drugstores. In fact, many of the less expensive drugstore brands are better than what’s available at the mall.

10. Make Your Own Choices

Make Your Own Choices
Buying makeup can be frustrating when you’re looking for the right shades and colors. Now add a pushy saleslady that is trying to push the most expensive products on you in order to get a commission.  In a drugstore, you can take your time browsing and never have to worry about someone asking you if you need help every 2 minutes.
You might have a department store brand that you swear by, but don’t underestimate drugstore beauty products. They are less expensive to try out and might be even better than what you’re used to. Take a trip to the drugstore and look at the available hair, makeup, and skin products.

10 Ways to Get Perfect Skin in 2 Weeks.

10 Ways to Get Perfect Skin in 2 Weeks.

Сlear, radiant, soft skin not only looks great, it feels great too. If you want to get healthy, flawless skin, then these ten tips should put you on the right track. Keep in mind that everyone’s skin is a little different, so you may react differently to these treatments.
Ways to Get Perfect Skin in 2 Weeks

1. Determine Skin Type

Determine Skin Type
The first step to addressing your skin is to determine whether yours is oily, dry, in between (normal), or a combination of dry and oily. Dry skin usually feels taut and tends to flake. People with dry skin will have small pores (they may not even be visible) and often complain of itchy skin. Oily skin, on the other hand, feels greasy to the touch and tends to be shiny. People with oily skin will have large, visible pores. Normal skin falls in between the extremes of dry and oily, with pores that are moderately sized and often not visible (except after exercise in some cases). Normal skin is supple and smooth. Most people fall into the combination category, with oily skin in the T-zone (nose and forehead) and normal or dry skin elsewhere.

2. Clean, Tone, and Moisturize

Clean Tone and Moisturize
When you clean your skin, do so gently using just your fingers and soap or a mild exfoliant. People with dry or oily skin will do well with an exfoliant. After cleaning your skin, pat it dry (never rub it) and apply a toner. Toners help to reduce wrinkles and strengthen skin. Finally, if you have dry skin, apply a moisturizer advertised as “noncomedogenic,” which means it won’t worsen acne. People with oily skin generally don’t need moisturizer, except in dry winter months. As a side note, a few drops of fresh lemon juice make an excellent toner.

3. Wear Sunscreen

Wear Sunscreen
The sun is the single biggest threat to your skin. It can worsen acne, accelerate the effects of aging (more wrinkles and spots), and even lead to skin cancer. Wear a sunscreen that blocks both UV-A and UV-B rays and that is rated at least an SPF 15. There are many sunscreens on the market designed to accommodate different skin types, so choose one that is right for you.

4. Always Remove Makeup

Always Remove Makeup
Makeup is for covering your skin, not for improving its health. In fact, makeup can damage the health of your skin and the longer you leave it on, the worse its effects can be. You must remove makeup every night, all the way down to clean skin. Makeup that needs special chemicals for removal is probably doing more damage to your skin than makeup that comes off with soap and water.

5. Eat Well

Eat Well
A diet high in fruits and vegetables and with fewer processed grains will provide you with all of the right vitamins and minerals for good skin health. Avoid eating too much sugar, greasy foods, and red meats. Caffeine is okay in moderation, but don’t overdo it. Lycopene, found in tomatoes and watermelon, can reduce redness and fight wrinkles, so eat up.

6. Exercise

Exercise
Exercise increases the flow of blood to your skin, which helps your body remove waste. It also releases endorphins and reduces levels of hormones known to negatively impact skin structure. Exercise has even been shown to improve acne. As an added bonus, exercise can leave you with a rosy glow that lasts hours after your workout is over.

7. Wash Pillowcases Frequently

Wash Pillowcases Frequently
Pillowcases are something people tend to forget about. They wash them, but often not regularly. You don’t have to wash all of your bedding every week, but you should wash pillowcases at least that often to reduce bacteria that can cause breakouts. Washing pillowcases weekly will also improve the quality of your sleep, which is another factor in having healthy skin. Be sure to sanitize your phone at the same time. Anything that spends time near your face needs to be as free of bacteria as possible.

8. Consider Retinol

Consider Retinol
Retinol, or vitamin A, actually helps your skin repair itself faster and speeds the rate at which your skin grows. In other words, retinol causes skin to turn over faster so that you always have fresh, new skin cells on the surface rather than old, dry ones. Retinol also boosts collagen production, which can help to reduce wrinkles. You can see results in as little as two weeks with some products.

9. Avoid Hot Water

Avoid Hot Water
Hot water causes your skin to dry out and can even cause mild burn. The result is red, scaly, and even swollen skin that can take as much as two hours to recover. Warm showers are okay, but you don’t want to see steam wafting up around you.

10. Wear Sunglasses

 Wear Sunglasses
The skin under your eyes is thinner than the skin on almost any other part of your body. As such, this skin is more prone to damage. Wearing sunglasses provides more protection for the skin around your eyes than sunblock ever could. Not only do glasses shield the skin from the sun, they prevent you from squinting in bright light, which also helps to prevent wrinkles.
Caring for your skin is a lifelong process. The tips above are designed to get you up and feeling good in just two weeks, but the best thing you can do for your skin is to take care of it day in and day out. Treat your skin well to keep it looking healthy and beautiful your entire life. What are your secrets to perfect skin?

10 Ways to Appear More Interesting in the Eyes of Others.

10 Ways to Appear More Interesting in the Eyes of Others.

If you want to become a more interesting person to others, then it’s time to make some changes. In fact, there are a few ways to appear more interesting in the eyes of others that really work. Sure, the most important person you have to please is you. However, we shouldn’t forget about people around us. Follow these simple, yet effective tips on how to appear more interesting in the eyes of others, and you’ll also find yourself more interesting!
Ways to Appear More Interesting in the Eyes of Others

1. Listen to yourself first

Listen to yourself first
One of the most important ways to appear more interesting in the eyes of others is to start to listen to yourself. Turn off the TV, music, your phone, and spend time with yourself. Think about the things that you have created, accomplished and overcome in your life. Think about the most special day in your life, a way you did something you never thought you could. Once you’ve fully embraced yourself, you’ll never again let anyone put you down and make you feel less about yourself.

2. Be a good listener

Be a good listener
If you want to become more interesting in the eyes of people around you, you should become a good listener. Ask people questions about subjects that you know matter to them and listen to the stories people have to tell. When you are a good listener, people find you more interesting to spend time with. The more great stories you hear of other people, the more you can empathize and share your own stories.

3. Speak up with expression

Speak up with expression
The more you contribute to a conversation or a meeting, the more interesting you will come off. If you stay silent, no one will even notice you. Ask questions, make remarks and make sure you do it with expression. Expressive speech is one of the best ways to appear more interesting in the eyes of others. Change your tone and volume if needed, and minimize the number of pauses you make as you speak.

4. Ask yourself tough questions

Ask yourself tough questions
If someone tells you that you are not interested to be with, don’t hurry to hate them. Ask yourself the hard question of why they say that. Maybe, it’s because they simply want to put you down, or you mention your ex-boyfriend in every other story, or maybe it’s time for you to change something in your life, change your lifestyle. Try going back over the last conversations you have had, and objectively and honestly determine if there were some ways you could have made the conversation more interesting or fun. Learn from your mistakes and move on.

5. Learn something new

Learn something new
Feel like you stuck in a rut? You go to work/college, go to the grocery store, then go home, and you do it all over again the next day. Get out of that rut. Indulge in hobbies, learn something new and expand your horizons. Go ahead and learn a new language to become interesting in the eyes of even more people from different countries. Check out the classes and groups local libraries often have for free. It’s a great opportunity to learn something new and meet more interesting people.

6. Spend more time with friends

Spend more time with friends
Sometimes it’s difficult to put yourself out there to be with someone, especially when you’re feeling down. You will never become more interesting if you always stay at home alone. Join your coworkers for a cocktail after work, even if you don’t drink alcohol, invite your friends to the movie, and go somewhere to have pizza and chat about the movie you watched. The more you spend time with others, the more interesting you become!

7. Take the chance

Take the chance
To feel more interesting sometimes you just have to take one huge step out of your comfort zone. Do you dream of spending a freewheeling weekend in Chicago? Have you always wanted to swim with dolphins? If so, what are you waiting for? Stop saying everyone about your dreams and start making your dreams come true. This way, you will appear more interesting in the eyes of others and you will feel more complete and happy.

8. Go exploring and share your knowledge

Go exploring and share your knowledge
Explore opinions, ideas, and places and feel free to share your knowledge with your family, friends and coworkers. Not everyone go exploring and not everyone knows what you know. Share your adventures and people will want to spend more time with you.

9. Be courageous

 Be courageous
You need to be brave to have contrary opinions and to take absolutely new paths. If you are not courageous, you won’t be successful in creating a life that’s full of happiness and you won’t appear more interesting in the eyes of others.

10. Work on yourself

Work on yourself
Finally, never stop working on yourself. Do things to improve your confidence and boost your energy level. This will help you feel more comfortable in your own skin. A confident person makes everybody around them feel better. And if you don’t moan about your flaws and you show your confidence, people will enjoy being around you.
Many of us are trying to be more interesting but it can be a challenging thing. Follow the aforementioned tips and hopefully you will reach your goal. What do you do to appear more interesting in the eyes of others? Share your tips with us, please.

10 Countries In The World Where Your Religion Will Get You Killed.

10 Countries In The World Where Your Religion Will Get You Killed.

Most of the listed countries consider apostasy punishable by death

Social media went into a frenzy sometime in May over the death sentence passed on 27-year-old Meriam Ibrahim who was accused of apostasy and adultery which led to an international outcry and eventually she was freed.
From Ibrahim’s situation, the hard and sad truth is that we do not live in a world of religious freedom.
In some parts of the world, converting from one religion to another which is not recognised by that country could mean segregation, barred from taking part in social activities and sometimes, death.
According to AFK Insider, There are some countries in the world where your religion could mean a death penalty and here are 10 of them:
  1. Afghanistan: In March 2006, Abdul Rahman, an Afghan citizen, converted to Christianity from Islam, and was facing the death penalty on an apostasy charge. Because the case drew international attention and criticism, it was eventually dropped on technical grounds after presidential intervention, but others have not been so lucky. Other converts were arrested throughout the past decade and their sentences have not been made public, assuming the worst.
  2. Iran: According to intelligence reports, Iran death squads have been employed against those who renounced Islam, either for Christianity or a more neutral or atheist practice. As recently as 2008, 15 ex-Muslims who have since converted to Christianity were charged with apostasy and are still being held to determine their fate. Other known cases, such as Youcef Nadarkhani, have already been sentenced to death, among others.
  3. Egypt: Due to the uncertain nature of the Egyptian government, it is unclear which laws exactly are being enforced, and if the government itself or the population at large is behind all arrests and sentencing. But in 2006, members of parliament expressed the opinion that all members of the Bahá’í Faith were infidels, and should be killed on the spot. Similarly, a 2010 poll showed that 84 percent of Egyptians who identified as Muslim believed that anybody who renounced Islam in the country should be executed.
  4. Maldives: Freedom of religion in the Maldives is extremely limited, as Islam is the recognized state religion and few others are tolerated. In 2010, philosophy student Mohamed Nazim openly declared that his studies had forced him to renounce Islam and identify instead as atheist. After his immediate arrest and subsequent death sentence, he publicly reverted to Islam to avoid that fate.
  5. Pakistan: The death penalty may be issued in Pakistan for merely publicly denouncing any aspect of the Islam. Speaking in opposition to Islam, publishing material that attacks the prophets, desecrating the Quran, or speaking out against Muhammad may all be punishable by life imprisonment or death. Any actions made that are seen as even attempting to influence somebody else’s commitment to Islam are also punishable by extreme prison sentences.
  6. Saudi Arabia: In Saudi Arabia, one is considered Muslim whether or not he/she identifies as such; children born to Muslim fathers are by law deemed Muslim. Therefore, anybody who converts from Islam to another religion, or denounces Islam in any way, is considered to have committed apostasy and could be sentenced to death. Speaking out against Sunni Islam in any sense is also punishable by death.
  7. Mauritania: Proselytizers in Mauritania face a serious danger. While there is no direct law that bans non-Muslims from proselytizing within the country’s borders, many laws prohibit material from being distributed and severely restrict the right to free speech regarding the topic. Therefore, anybody who violates these rules may be facing extreme punishment, and proselytizers have been attacked by extremists operating outside of the government’s authority.
  8. Yemen: In Yemen, as in other Islamic countries, the act of denouncing Islam is not just seen as a crime in itself, but as an attack against the state and an act of undermining the government. For instance, in 2006, two imams were sentenced to death for peacefully opposing certain faith-based groups. The president eventually pardoned them after public criticism, but the case was only one among many at that time.
  9. Kuwait: While the country openly states that religious freedom exists within its borders, aspects of Shariah law make this difficult to believe. Several individuals have been sentenced to time in prison for denouncing or converting from Islam, and the parliament voted in 2012 to make blasphemy punishable by death for Muslims. Though the Council of Ministers rejected this amendment to the criminal code, it is still debated in government offices.
  10. Bangladesh: Bangladesh’s nearly 90-percent Islamic majority makes it difficult for other minority groups, who often feel ostracized. While there is no government enforcement of capital punishment for not abiding by Islam, there have been many instances of extremist violence against non-Muslims that were not tried by the courts. There are also instances of societal abuses against minorities, who are shut out of public office, employment opportunities, and more.

Is That Really the Hot Tub You Want?

Is That Really the Hot Tub You Want?

A hot tub can be a wonderfully therapeutic addition to your household. Hot tubs help relieve stress, relax muscles and even help with some physical ailments. But they can also be a hefty financial investment. Before purchasing a hot tub, you should carefully consider what you will really use it for and buy accordingly.
Is That Really the Hot Tub You Want

Housing situation

For one thing, consider your housing situation. If you are living in a house you own and intend to be there for a while, a larger tub, 5- to 7-person, can be a good choice. If you expect to move soon or will be renting in the near future, a portable hot tub might be better. The larger to tub, the more difficult and expensive it is to move. A bigger issue is where to place the tub. Larger models need a solid concrete base; an empty 7-person hot tub typically weighs nearly 1,000 pounds. You also need access to a 220 outlet for a big tub. Smaller, portable hot tubs often run on 110 and don’t need as much security beneath them since they are much lighter. Being lighter, of course, also makes them easier to move. The number of people who will be using the tub will also make a difference. Portable hot tubs often seat only two people, and neither can lie down. Many 5- and 7-person tubs have lounge seats that take the place of two, so someone using the lounge in the largest tub still allows 5 people to join in.

Jets

Typically, bigger tubs also have more jets. While the number of jets may not seem important to you, without enough jets, the hot tub is more like a slowly circulating bath. If you are considering the hot tub for physically therapeutic reasons, get more jets. Of course, salespeople will probably tell you that you want the most jets possible, but that isn’t necessarily true. You don’t need the highest number available, but don’t settle for the least because it’s a little cheaper.

Heat

Although portable hot tubs don’t often have the option, the larger models may have a feature that allows the tub to run and heat at the same time. Of course, this adds expense to your purchase. However, if you will be enjoying the outdoor tub in the winter on a cold night, it might be more comfortable to have the tub at optimum temperature before you get in it and have it heating while you are there. In such situations, tubs will lose heat just by being opened, and a few degrees can feel very different on your skin. If you intend to use the tub only in warmer weather or inside, then don’t waste your money on this feature.

Used hot tub

Finally, consider buying a used hot tub. People are often finding they just don’t use the tubs as much as they thought, or they can’t afford them because of the added expenses like water, electricity and chemicals. Sometimes they just need some quick cash, and a hot tub usually has a pretty big wad of money tied up. Auctions, internet sources and local want ads are all great places to find used tubs. You can often find deals on tubs that are fairly new and are ¼ the price of a new one. Be sure to find out about shipping and delivery costs and arrangements before you leap. Even if the warranty is not transferable, most tub companies cover the plumbing and motor for five years or less, so you aren’t really missing out on a guarantee if you get a good enough price. While buying a hot tub is not typically an impulse purchase, you might be unhappy with the product long-term if you don’t carefully consider these issues before buying. Read reviews, visit showrooms to actually see differences, and carefully compare the factors that matter most to you. Then you will have a hot tub that gives you years of enjoyment.

7 Helpful Ways to Get Along with Your In-Laws.

Although your partner is crazy about you, his parents or siblings can hate you. If your in-laws don’t like you, don’t worry, it will take time to win them over if you follow my tips for getting great with your in-laws.
Helpful Ways to Get Along with Your In-Laws

1. Show an interest in something they like doing

One of the best ways to get along with your in-laws is to show your interest in something they like doing. 2. Spend time together

When you show your interest, do something interesting with your mother-in-law to make it a wonderful day where both of you go shopping or have lunch together, or when you ask your father-in-law about his recent fishing excursion, tell him that next time you’d like to go with him. Show them that you want to be a part of their family and you don’t want to take their son away from them.

3. Help

Whether your father-in-law is trying to find out how to use a laptop or your mother-in-law needs some help in the kitchen, make sure you help them. They will certainly appreciate it and remember it forever. However, don’t insist on helping, if they say no when you ask.

4. Ask for help

Since in-laws love to feel included, ask them to babysit for several hours or overnight if they want. Give them the chance to feel connected with you. If you put down your in-laws’ parenting style they will think that you believe his son was raised incorrectly.

6. Respect their traditions

If your in-laws celebrate Hanukkah with a large festive meal or they’ve always gone to a church on Christmas Eve, respect their traditions. Holidays can be a hard time since everybody wants you to come for a visit and, of course, you cannot visit everyone on the same day. But make sure to include your in-laws traditions to your holiday planning.

7. Don’t force it

Building a good relationship with your in-laws is not an easy thing and it don’t happen overnight, so, please, just don’t force it. 7 Sure Signs You’re a Chronic Perfectionist.

7 Sure Signs You’re a Chronic Perfectionist.

Being a perfectionist is a challenging thing because you always feel the necessity of keeping everything under control and getting every little thing perfect. If something goes wrong, a perfectionist can feel despondent and even fall into a depression as they realize that they’ve failed. These usually talented people face problematic relationships and certain mood disorders. If you are a high achiever and a chronic perfectionist, then pay attention to the following features indicating the essence of your character.
Sure Signs You’re a Chronic Perfectionist

1. You need to always be ok

If you have a constant need to keep everything under control, then you are a chronic perfectionist. It’s not a secret that such type of people have less friends, because no one likes to be dictated what to do and to be on your string all the time for you to feel satisfied. The best way for you is to take easy for a while. If you are a boss, try to be milder, because such mega pressing may affect the productivity of your employees.

2. Not good enough

Perfectionists usually cannot reach the biggest goal and do not feel lasting satisfaction, because everything is not good enough for them. They always want and need to do things better than they’ve already got and done. A chronic perfectionist will find at least something, even a few details to be improved. “Perfectionism is a self-abuse of the highest order”. This idea is by Anne Wilson Schaef is the best reflection of the situation, so we should try not to abuse ourselves and stop being a true perfectionist.

3. An eager to please from early childhood

According to psychologist’s statistics, perfectionism begins early in the childhood. Usually, parents want their kids to be better than themselves and teach them to get higher results in different spheres of development. As a result, children become chronic perfectionists, instead of living fulfilled and happy life they face the problems of their exigent temper. Perfectionism is very painful, especially for children, because this dual notion makes them fear the consequences of not doing well and need to do better that usually leads to personal inner conflicts.

4. Frequent procrastination

It’s unbelievably, but perfectionism has connections with the tendency to procrastinate everything. According to several investigations, there are maladaptive and adaptive forms of perfectionism. Maladaptive perfectionists usually need to please others and they procrastinate tasks more frequent, but adaptive perfectionists try to avoid postponements and they please themselves first. Be sure, both forms of perfectionism make you miserable and prevent you from being successful and satisfied.

5. You are mega critical

Do you often criticize others? Perfectionists usually get nervous and reject things in others they hate in themselves. They seem to have a critical eye and they always try to teach others, making people feel discriminated by a perfectionist. If you are a perfectionist, try not to be so harsh and mega critical of other people and it will be better for both sides.

6. You do everything yourself

Perfectionists cannot trust their business to other people. You should understand that you are not a superhuman and you cannot do all tasks yourself. Such habit can be quite exhausting for you and may have a great impact on your health and happiness. It is necessary to rid yourself of this destructive habit.

7. You reach your goals by all means

Do you often reach goals stopping at nothing? Perfectionist is a person who will do everything to reach their goal, even if it will hurt them. We should realize that such unhealthy attitude won’t drive us to excellence, because the absence of rules and limits can lead to quite unusual and unknown consequences. If you are a perfectionist, you should know when to stop, otherwise your temper can play a bad game with you and your interrelation with the society.
It’s difficult to be a perfectionist. You are always chased by the desire to be in charge of everything that is theoretically impossible. Remember that this habit is very exhausting and can both make your life more saturated and unfortunate at the same time.

Most Meaningful Proverbs Everyone Should Live by

1. “The purpose of life is a life of purpose” – Robert Byrne

Perhaps, this is my favorite proverb, because there was a time when I didn’t understand what the purpose of my life was. I think at some point every one of us comes to that difficult question of what the purpose of life is. The answer is actually different for everybody and some people may not know it yet and that’s not bad. The basic point of this great proverb is to live your life with purpose in all your thoughts and actions, which is actually everybody’s calling, regardless of passions and talents. I have this wonderful and meaningful proverb on my wall and it really helps me through difficult times!

2. “In your anger do not sin. Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold” – Eph. 4:26-27

I always think of this proverb when I’m in a fight with a family member, partner or friend. While being angry is normal and even healthy, we should not be consumed by anger and it must not still be there the next day. If you are consumed by anger over a disagreement or fight, you can easily say or do something you will regret later. So calm yourself by taking a few deep breaths and try to resolve the issues without fighting. Remember you and only you are responsible for your actions so do your part to stay cool, calm and collected!

3. “A cynic is a man who knows the price of everything and the value of nothing” – Oscar Wilde

Though I try not to be a cynic person, with all the selfishness abounding in our world it’s extremely difficult not to be cynical. I believe that there are many selfless and kind people who really make our world a better place to live in! It’s an amazing goal to see the value in those things that are not fleeting in life, such as love, faith, family, and friends!

4. “Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it ” – Confucius

Have you ever heard the saying ‘beauty is in the eye of the beholder’? I absolutely agree with Confucius. Beauty is everywhere we just don’t notice it at times. Every day try to see those little things, which are very beautiful. It can be lunch with your friends and interesting conversation. Sure, it’s the little thing, but it’s so beautiful!

5. “No one can make you feel inferior without your consent” – Eleanor Roosevelt

Often it’s extremely difficult to ignore negative words, especially when they are from someone you love. If it happens, the best thing to do is to tell the person that it’s a great pity that they have such opinion, and that you are going to think otherwise. Never dwell on negative words, I know it’s easier said than done, but you should try to do it!

6. “Kindness is the sunshine in which virtue grows” – Anonymous

I like this proverb because unkind people can’t have virtuous traits. Kindness comes from love, and without love, all virtuous characteristics are worthless. I believe this is a beautiful and meaningful proverb everyone should live by!

7. “Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark” – James 3:5

This is one of my favorite verses in the Bible. The entire verse compares the tongue to a big fire and how our words are powerful and destructive. Every time I read this proverb I always think of gossips and how they spread like a fire, consuming people who turn their ears to listen. Gossips can ruin lives, so we must avoid spreading rumors about other people, even if they’re true. It’s just unkind.

8. “The journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step” – Chinese Proverb

I love this proverb because it’s really motivational in all areas of life. I think about my fitness goal and how the most difficult part about getting into exercise is just beginning and taking that first step! The first step is always the most difficult since it’s the mental battle you should overcome.
These are all of my favorite proverbs I live by. I feel really inspired and refreshed when I read them. I hope you like these beautiful proverbs and you will take them to heart! What proverbs do you live by? Please comment below and thanks for reading!

When reflecting on your position, behavior and deeds, you can reach a new level of human development scale. Take a look at these questions and maybe they will change your life for the better.
Life Questions to Ask Yourself Today

1. What do you want to change in this world?

Almost everyone is able to change the world. Even small deeds and actions can contribute to making changes in this world. The main point is to have a frank desire. Nowadays we are free to change the world by volunteering or donating. Plus, you can create a music that’s proved to change people and their inner opinions. The best idea to change the world for the better is to start from yourself and your own world view. When we think of changing the world, it indicates that we’ve become stronger and more intelligent.

2. What are your life values?

Our values are the core element of the life. People who have no values are doomed to run around and chase unnecessary things. Families and life experiences endowed us with appropriate values and we have to find time to write them down and realize what is the most important for you. You have to set priorities whether to spend more time with family and friends or make a successful career. If your heart needs love, then try to become a good wife or a girlfriend to your man.

3. What do you like to do?

This question is really important because often we choose jobs that we don’t enjoy doing. We are often pressed by parents, colleagues and bosses to make a decision we don’t support. Even if you have a well-paid job, don’t be afraid to quit it. Do what you really love and you will feel much happier.

4. How do you imagine your life 5 years from now?

Find time and imagine your life 5 years from now. It can be easier to create a scheme including goals and mini-goals as a constituent part of your plan. 5. Is there a balance between want and should?

There are many important things we all should do in life, such as finishing the college degree, making money and starting a family. It often happens that our wants do not coincide with our shoulds and we end up feeling miserable. But it’s easy to turn your want into should. Your wants should come true and become an indispensable part of your everyday life. Try to draw the line between things you want and what you should do. You will certainly succeed and keep a healthy life balance.

6. What are your biggest fears?

Modern world often awards us with big or small fears. The key weapon to fight fears is to accept and face them. The most challenging thing is to win yourself. Nowadays it is normal to have fears and it doesn’t mean you are weak. Just be yourself and find a way to cope with your fears.

Don’t waste your energy and nerves mulling over small troubles and problems. If you were dying right now, what would be the most important to you? Your family and friends, or career and money? Stop worrying about money and other less important things, because life is too short. You may ask yourself if it’s a big problem that you’ve missed a bus or you’re late for work today.

If you love and enjoy quiet, this is another sign you are an introvert. In fact, everybody can enjoy the quiet whether they’re an extrovert or an introvert, but introverts enjoy it in an unusual way. 7. They want to be alone all the time

Just because introverts enjoy alone time does not mean they want always to be alone. Introverts think a lot, daydream and they even like to have some problems to work on, but they can get extremely lonely if they do not have anyone to share their feelings, discoveries and experiences with.

All it takes to get started is some seeds, soil, water, and sunlight. This is one hobby that will let you reap and sow numerous benefits. Here are 5 great reasons why you should be taking up gardening:
Reasons Why You Should Take Up Gardening

1. Gardening lets you grow your own food

Depending on how large your garden is, you might not be able to give up on the grocery store entirely, but you will at least be able to grow some of your own vegetables and favorite herbs. The best part is that you have complete control over how you grow them, so you won’t have to be worried about pesticides and other chemicals in your food. Your veggies and herbs are also going to be fresh and therefore much more delicious.

2. Gardening is a great way to get closer to nature

A lot of us would like to get outdoors more, but it can be very hard to find the time. It’s not always convenient to drive out to the country, go on hikes, or just spend time in the natural environment. You’ll quickly feel closer to nature by surrounding yourself with various plants and regularly digging in the dirt!

3. Gardening is challenging, but in a good way

Gardening is going to force you to be tenacious and get creative. You are going to have to read books or get online to find out how to grow certain plants. Even the best gardeners are going to end up having to tackle bug infestations at some point or another, or will be left scratching their heads when a plant inexplicably won’t seem to grow. Gardening can sometimes be like solving a puzzle, and you’ll feel really great about yourself once you’ve figured it out.

4. Gardening can also be relaxing

Despite the fact that gardening can have its tricky moments, it is also for the most part a very relaxing activity. Once you figure out the basics, you will only have to provide some water and your plants will do all the hard work for you. Going out to tend to your garden can become one of the most relaxing and stress-free parts of your day.

5. Gardening is very rewarding, and also a lot of fun

There’s nothing quite like seeing your first few seedlings pop out of the soil, or like harvesting from them once your plants have produced the fruits of your labors. It’s really neat, if you think about it, that from one tiny seed you have grown fresh and healthy food that you and your family can now enjoy.
Just remember that anyone can do it. If you would like to take up gardening, then don’t be afraid to give it a try. You’ll be amazed at how much and how quickly you can learn.
