Creative Wedding Ceremony Arrangements.
The
entire wedding, from ceremony to reception matters but the ceremony is
where the magic really happens. It is where you vow to love and honour
your spouse before God, family and friends. So it is certainly special
in and of itself but you can sprinkle a little more magic by tying the
décor details together.
Start by
creating a seating arrangement that practical yet creative. Here are a
few idea that will make your guests eager to take a seat;
Spiral:
This is
where the seats arranged in a circular design spiralling all the way to
the centre. The bride gets o walk down the aisle and see each and every
guest.
This arrangement works very well for an intimated wedding ceremony and it photographs beautifully.
Left, Right and Centre:
Instead of
having the seats extending all the way to the back, you can spit them
into three; have some on the right, left and centre but all facing the
couple.
This ensures that the guests get a great view of the wedding proceedings and no guest has to sit at the back. Brilliant!
Circular Four Aisle:
This
seating arrangement has the guests seated all around the couple in
circular rings with four aisle separating each quadrant.
I makes entry and exit from the ceremony easy and works for intimate as well as large weddings.
Single Circle:
For a small intimate wedding you could also opt to have the guests sited all around the couple.
Every
guest gets a direct view of the couple and it also makes the couple
feel as though they are surrounded by friends and family; quite
literally.
Half Circle:
Then
there is the half circle. This is basically a semi- circle formation
that allows for an aisle at the center. It is a very practical seating
arrangement in that every guest gets a great view of the couple.
The
half circle also looks very pretty and photographs beautifully. With
this arrangement the aisle is pretty short so if you can consider
extending the carpet or aisle decorations to create the look of a longer
aisle.
Arrow Ceremony:
For a
garden wedding you could have trees and shrubs that prevent you from
having conventional seating. Well here is a way to sidestep that; the
arrow seating arrangement.
With this setup the seating is arranged diagonally on each side of the obstacle.
