Wedding Contracts - DJ/ Band Contract

Wedding Contracts - DJ/ Band Contract

Wedding DJ and Wedding band

Other than good intentions what else will guarantee that your Wedding DJ or band will perform as per expectations? You guessed it, a vendor contract. Ensure you have a contract in place that includes at least the following requirements.

 - Names and contact information of Bride and Groom

 - Name and contact information of the Wedding DJ or Band Company

 - Wedding Date

 - Equipment to be supplied: This includes number of speakers, microphones as well as cordless microphones which are easier to use during exchanging of vows.

  - Cost:The total amount to be charged as we as the payment schedule i.e. the percentage of the deposit to be paid, payments before the wedding day and the final payment on the wedding day. Just like for Wedding Décor, Wedding Caterer and MC, you might want to reserve a part of the payment (say 20%) to the wedding day as a bargaining chip.

 - Overtime rates if any.

 - Signatures: Last but certainly not least, have both parties sign the contract as soon as the deposit to secure the wedding DJ or Band is paid
